Charles Greyson Mitchell (1903-1975) married Sallie Katherine Truitt (1912-1957). They would live in North Carolina and Virginia. They had a son Greyson Truitt Mitchell (1931-1996)
Sallie's father was George Franklin Truitt (1889-1942) and her mother was Lulu Mae Adkins. Frank was a conductor with the railroad. Lulu would remarry in 1951 to Charles F. Pusey.
