Albert Harland Elliott (1881-1954) son of William Burton Elliott and Mary Elliott must not have had a successful store as by 1910 he was a shoe salesman in Philadelphia. He would marry Annie Lee Short (1880-1973) and they would have one daughter, Elizabeth Ottalie . He had a successful shoe store in Shaker Heights, Ohio under the name of A H Elliott Shoe Company. In 1938 he had an operation for cancer of the larynx and afterwards could not talk.
