Referred to
as “H”, Henry Fulton Brewington was a
popular musician and bandleader of the 1930s and 1940s on the Eastern Shore. He played all over Delmarva and when not
leading a band played trumpet, guitar, and piano. A few months after this April advertisement he
would die from an illness in September 1946. His parents were State Senator
Marion V. Brewington (one of the organizers of the Wicomico News) and Margaret
Fulton. His mother would die 36 hours
after Henry’s death. His wife was
Virginia Bozman. They had a child Henry
Fulton Brewington, Jr who would die at 51 years of age in 1997.
