Mr, Laurent A. Delisle (1914-1975) from Quebec taught French at Delmar high school for about two years (1948-1950) before going to Selbyville to teach and then about 1954 he moved to New Jersey to teach.
His parents were Arthur Joseph Delisle and Marie Louise Dessureault and they lived in Quebec. Actually his name was a little longer than what he normally went by. It was Joseph Moise Laurent Angelbert Delisle. As the article says he was married to Therese Gendron (1926-1975) of Quebec in 1951. It is unknown when they returned to Canada but it was sometime in the 1960s.
