SCALDED ON HIS LOCOMOTIVE
Special to THE EVENING JOURNAL DELMAR, Aug. 8 - While the New York express. No. 48 was
shifting at Tasley yesterday Engineman E. T. West, of this town, was badly
scalded by a steam pipe In the engine cab bursting. The fireman who was outside
was not Injured. Mr. West was put under
a physician's care and was relieved by Engineman McNelia who brought In the
train about three hours late. Mr. West condition is not serious.
