D. William Parker, a Baltimore colored
preacher, has been In Delmar this week interviewing the colored voters in the
interests of the candidacy of Theodore Roosevelt. It is proposed to get a
colored club in every district in Maryland for the Rough Rider. The Taft forces
in the colored ranks have the support of the colored paper, the Tri-State News,
so between the two forces the colored voter Is being made a very important
subject In the present campaign.
