The State Line Swimming Club

The State Line motel has a large pool and they sold memberships to the public. When the motel had a fire in 1977 the fire department used the water in the pool to help put the fire out.
I was a life guard at the pool for a couple of summers in the 70's. It was quite a busy pool. I do remember we had to close the pool after the fire until the pool was refilled.
